The tactical map of COH1 is a good example here. Smaller unit symbols to avoid symbol blobs that cover each other. I personaly don't need a bulls eye around it. In general, the tactical map should be way larger than what we know from COH2 with a higher screen utilization. I would like to outline some points that would massively improve the tactical map from my perspective. I think Relic deserves some early feedback on this. This makes it hard to see or select units within that symbol blob proberly. Units covering each other on the field with a distance of about 10m may lead to an overlapping symbol blob. One of the biggest issues in COH2 as well in the COH3 preview are Icon blobs due to weak screen utilization and oversized unit symbols. In a COH3 preview streamd by AECOH playing against Vulkan I got a first impression of the tactical map in COH3. Appart from Streamers like AE or Tightrope there is a huge tactical map player community. Some of the best players in the world like Isildur and Luvnest, are tactical map players. As a COH2 tactical map player I'm wondering why nobody is talking about the tactical map.
